The UNC name of the PC running an unregistered demo version of OPAL/Miner is displayed on the main OPAL/Miner panel.
Alternate Options
For unregistered installations OPAL/Miner offers a built-in function to return the UNC name of your computer. From the main window of OPAL/Miner, select the 'About OPAL/Miner' option. The window that appears will have an 'Apply Registration' button. Simply click this button and a message will be displayed stating that a valid registration key could not be found. Within this message is the UNC name of your computer contained in brackets.
Alternatively, you can click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Network and select the tab titled Identification. Your UNC will be shown in the Computer Name field. The UNC is assigned by your Network Administrator to uniquely identify your PC to the network.
