This error occurs when attempting to download certain files, possibly ones that contain a floating point data type. We have been unable to reproduce this error in our own systems however through the assistance of one of our customers we have been able to find a correction. It also only seems to occur with mySAP ERP 2005 under SAP kernel version 640 for all current patch levels. There are a number of OSS notes that refer to this type of problem within R/3 generally. These appear to be caused by tighter constraints forced by the kernel on the use of various ABAP coding techniques. If you are experiencing this problem then please access the SAP Service Marketplace and apply OSS note 758278 to your system. This OSS note provides two options for applying the correction. When applying this note you must apply the correction to the original SAP object.
